Child of Necessity

I wasn’t familiar with spies or intrigue when I made Romal so I did some digging and found a documentary on real-world espionage. It included interviews with hackers who built their first computers at eight years old, placing Romal’s Fixer abilities within the realm of reason.

It also mentioned sleeper cell agents who would infiltrate enemy countries and live sometimes for decades undercover as a regular family until activated. These agents sometimes had children to make their cover more convincing.

Romal has that documentary to thank for his damaged upbringing.
