a yes, if i happened to catch the 'online' announcement at the right time, and i was at a point in my work where I could easily tune in, and the stars are in the correct alignment in the heavens, then love to watch. XD I might only be able to keep half an eye on it but Id certainly be interested.
I'm no good with livestreaming stuff, which I think is what people assume I'm talking about. Most likely I'll just throw up a journal asking for Questions and we'll just narrow them down to the most interesting/least creepy that we'll be able to get through in an hour.
I know that I would love the ability to ask you guys questions but I also know that my computer is fairly rediculous and won't do Skype well. So if I could send you the question in a note or something like that, I would take you up on the possibility.
If people are interested then I'll just throw up a journal here asking for questions, and then just narrow it down to the most interesting ones. I have a feeling we wouldn't be able to get through them all otherwise.
As HAT was more or less one of the first detailed storyboards I've seen, I would like to ask a few questions about the thoughts behind character gestures and scenery shots and maybe just maybe the intentional or unintentional use of stereotyps and it's influence on the audience. ^^V
I ask because I get a lot of questions regarding HAT, the process behind the animation, sources for my inspiration, etc. Or I get asked questions to relay to the VAs for the characters, etc. It might just be easier to sit down and have a one-hour session over Skype one day where we answer the most interesting questions we get asked. If enough people are interested, I'll see what I can arrange for you guys, but it might not be for a while given my busy schedule at the moment.
"a one-hour session" ... never gonna happen... WHY? 'cause: You'll be getting tons of questions And then one of you, sooner or later, starts to talk about anything those questions bring up in your minds It's like you answer a question, then Richart or SunWon says something funny, then Brendan, and before you notice you have talked almost an hour, and might not even have answered the question. But we don't mind, we love to listen your chat
And in the end it's most likely going to be a three or four-hour session Be warned
I avoid uploading anything longer than 1-1.5 hours, and even then I cut it down into 15 minute bite-sized pieces. Otherwise I know people will get too intimidated by the length, so I keep it short. Besides that Richard has work and SungWon has to sleep, so it won't go on forever ...
phew, must take a lot of space, your poor computer haha, May I ask what you use to capture voice/video? Your voices sound great and video ain't blurry so I'm curious..
d'awww, you poor guys. Oh man I can't even imagine how you all are at the time, one is sleepy after work other after a long day and just might be hyper about something that happened during the day.. must be hard. Great to still see/heard how you actually manage to make it, just brilliant!
