Gasp, I know. Paying to see my art? How dare I.

Hi guys, I finally made a Patreon! There you can find various sketches, WIPs, and (hopefully soon) livestreams and I aim to include more original characters in due time. Of course I will continue to upload finished pieces here as well as my other art profiles, but for now those so inclined can support my art for however much they want, and get to see some cool stuff (I hope!) in the process.

The ultimate dream is to make a living off my own art, and to earn enough to focus 100% on personal projects. In the meantime I appreciate any and all support in that direction, and thank you all for encouraging my art thus far.

You can find my Patreon HERE: www.patreon.com/user?u=3345815

When you say " focus 100% on personal projects " , does it means even MOAR The Old Republic stuff ? :XD:
Cuz i'm all in for that :D

At the moment, yes! Currently I have a lot of comics I want to draw pertaining to Laz'ab and co., but there is also a larger project in progress (eventually). It will take a long, long time considering all parties involved have to work full-time as well, and drawing for 8 hours a day really takes the energy out of you by the time you get home.

Well it's always great to see more of Laz and co.'s adventures , what's fun is that we never know what they're up to , keeps everyone excited for the next TOR shenanigan you'll come up with i think :D
But yeah , unless you can work full-time on something , literally anything starts taking crazy amounts of time :O
Ah yes , i can relate to that . Not to mention your wrist start hurting , it really sucks the motivation out of you sometimes :/

Unfortunately due to the aforementioned time issues I actually cancelled my TOR sub months ago, which is why most interaction has been with Caspira alone and RP has been via outside methods. I can't really balance both playing and drawing the characters, but I still have stories I want to tell, so art trumps games.

Although when the hand starts to hurt ... yeah, then I do miss the games. :/

Yeah i can get why . The sub isn't reeeally expensive but unless you play regularly when you're sub it can quickly become a fair amount of money wasted , that's why i almost never sub personally although over the years i ended up buying all the unlocks and stuff via the Cartel Market so i don't need to worry about " X and Y things not being available whenever i'll play again " .

Gotta say when you go hardcore on a game your hands often start hurting as well :D

Oh btw i wanted to ask , what brush pack do you use ( particularly for linearts ) or do you use custom brushes ? Because i love how you get that traditional pencil feel with 'em but they still look solid unlike most pencil brushes looking all pale and blurry :O

I used to use a brush that came with Adobe PS6 with a pencil-ish look and texture, but then I discovered Kyle's Animator Brush Set. You pay what you feel and it's well worth it, it duplicates the feel and look of pencils really well. Sometimes I use it with pressure sensitivity to get opacity effects, but for lineart I tend to keep it solid, hence not pale and blurry.
