Thanks for this awesome guide. Legs are for me the most challenging part to draw.

For our class we drew skeletons over and over and over, and then began drawing the mucles over the bones. We copy the drawings but just copying them won't get you anywhere, you need to be able to visualize what is what.

not quite 100% scientifically accurate but more then enough to be a very useful tool for drawing. i might try a few of these its been a while since i've looked at medical anatomy books for form structure. should also get back into life drawing again. Thank you for inspiring :D

Excellent! I already own a classic anatomy book, but I find it easier to pull up a nice ref like this if I'm already at my computer, drawing. The colors will help a ton. Nice!

I'm a physical therapist, this line crossing the rectus... what's this?? And the soleus, the insertion is the Aquiles tendon, like the gastrocnemius. Because of this the three muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus) are named triceps surae. I don't "understand" that "inner soleus" you write. It must be the short peroneal muscle...

Those are nice drawings, but if you want to draw anatomy, you have to be more accurate.

Sorry for my strange english :)

I was copying these from two separate anatomy sources. Some had different labels, maybe that's the reason for the discrepancies.
